Optillion SEO is a division of Optillion Ltd. and was established in February 2005. We are a small company based in the village of Ruddington, five miles from Nottingham. Our office lies in the heart of the East Midlands and is easy to reach by road, rail or air.
Our team possess a range of skills that allow us to deliver expert service across a range of different specialisms. Optillion’s directors, Paul Bibby and Gavin Walker, have over twenty years of Search Engine Optimisation and web development expertise between them, along with substantial business and Internet Marketing experience. We also have an experienced copy editor and staff who provide dedicated article and directory submission support.
All of Optillion’s SEO work is completed in-house. Nothing is outsourced and when you meet with us you will be meeting with the person who is performing your SEO. This approach means that our work is of the highest quality and you will always be kept up-to-date on the progress of your SEO campaign.
Optillion have built up a reputation for integrity while working with clients ranging from start-ups to multi-nationals, and our years of experience with SEO means that our work is characterised by both intelligence and insight. We also take great pride in pursuing exceptional attention to detail and have a strong track record of identifying and rectifying complications arising during SEO campaigns.
The directors of Optillion who determine SEO strategy, oversee all Search Engine Optimisation campaigns and liaise with clients are:
Paul Bibby, Director
Paul has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and has been a company director since 1985. He started optimising websites in 2000 and has never looked back. His wider business experience in fields as diverse as clothing manufacturing and I.T. means that he has strong understanding of the challenges facing businesses in today’s marketplace. He is also a qualified webmaster and e-commerce professional, whose wider interests include yachting, fly-fishing and DIY.
Gavin Walker, Director
Gavin has a degree in medicine and has worked as a doctor, local government officer and museum curator. He gravitated towards a career in web development and Search Engine Optimisation in the late 1990’s. Along with his work for Optillion SEO, Gavin also teaches an Advanced SEO course as part of De Montfort University’s ‘Commercial applications of the web’ degree programme. He is closely involved with the local community and is part of a network of Internet Marketing professionals across the East Midlands. When not optimising websites, Gavin enjoys poetry, museology and forestry.
